Hi everbody to build a profile on chatpoint de luxe(a.k.a) V4
isnt so hard, I think really that even with out my explanation
you will manage it but here is for the ones who need it a way to
get started.
First off all ofcourse you login first and then click on “start”in
the mainchatscreen, then configuration, profile/ your profile.
| Now you see a black screen in front of you the basis
of your profile. Where do you like to start? Some text i
presume. Click on the “T”on the top, wich turns orange now. Then you drag with your leftmouse button (pressed in)a box where you wanna have your litte piece of text, it doesnt matter if you made your box a litte to big or to small cause you can easly change that later in a different size. Then you type your text in the litte box on the left where now stands “text3” the colour of your text is now green but with the green button you can change the colour. |

| A coloureditor has opened just pick out the colour
you want and on the right side you can make that colour
brighter or darker. I make it yellow. You see that your
text directly change to the colour you selected, click on
OK and the coloureditor disappears. Also can you pick out the type of the letters and make them bold or italic . or even the size of your text. Disselect your text by clicking next to it. |

| Now we gonna make a background, wich we do as follow. Click on the button left to to scissors( if you leave your mouse on the button for a sec you see that the word “background”appears) button change to orange Standard background colour is black, but i want to make it darkpurple, click on the black bar, there you get again a colour editor, mix your own colour click on OK and your background is ready.. now thats easy ha? | |
| Now an image. You just cannot use any image you want
and first of all you have to upload this image to the
chatpoint server. He get stored then in your photoalbum
and nobody can steal that from you! First upload that
image! The image has to be a .gif or .jpg from experiance
i know that moving .gif dont work very well mostly the
refuse to load. Probbely its a little bug.. I hope cause
the moving ones or mostly the funniest ones.Ok upload we
do, wich you do as follow. Click on the right button with
the arrow”upload image”” left on your
screen appears a litte window brower on your computer for
the right image and click on “upload”! |

Click now on the button “image”(button right next to the “t”) Drag with your leftmouse button pushed in a box and your image appears. If you wanna move that image to a other place thas possible by clickin in the middle of the image, you will see a litte circle in the middle of that image click on that and hold your mouse button and drag the image to the right place, click next to it and ready dont forget to click on save!. . |

| Now we gonna make a nice box where we can later can
put text in. Click on the square 2nd button of the left,
drag with your leftmouse button pressed in a square in
the size you wish. With the 2 colourbars you can give the
box the colour you want and also the border. You also can
pick different sorts of borders for that you need the
buttons between the 2 colourbars. With the cirle in the middle of the box you can move it to anywhere you want in your profile., and with the little squears in the corners of your box you can make the box bigger, smaller, wider or even higher, disselect the box by clicking next to the box. If you want to put text in your box that goes the same way as i told you earlyier. Click on the ‘T”of text, drag a box (in this case) OVER the pink box , and put your text in there. |

| Now we gonna make a link wich you do as follow. You
gonna start as you gonna make a text, click on “T”
make a box put your text in it make it the right colour
and make it the size you want. This gonna be a little box
cause a link isnt that big. I made it with this sampl.e
**rentadabo.nl** but the link as to be ofcourse www.rentadabo.nl,
the real internet addy (url) you put in the bar
buttomleft where says ‘link”. Dont forget to
put infront of it http:// or else it wount work
automaticly there appears a line under your text isnt
that easy or not? Disselect by clickking next to it! Its also possible to
make a link to your emailaddy wich almost work the same
as written above but instead of the internet addy you do
mailto:email@addy.com for addy.com you put ofcourse your
own email addy!!
